I’m a self-proclaimed Southern girl, author, DIY enthusiast, lover of ALL things Christmas, and mildly obsessed shopper. When I was three years old I fell in love with reading and the magic of words, which later inspired me to become a writer. After many ups and downs that included nearly two decades of writer’s block and several career highs and lows, I published my first novel, Unexpected Interruptions, in 2007. Fast forward to today, I’m proud to say that I’m an award-winning, bestselling author of 10 fiction books.
I’m an artist at heart and I love creating—whether it’s a good book, delicious meal, cleaver cleaning hack, cost-saving DIY, fabulous party, or a novel idea. I created Fabulous Southern Belle, to celebrate and share all the things that I love, while paying homage to my southern roots (I’m a proud North Carolinian).
I’m a wife, mom, and grandma to the most amazing group of humans on the planet. My life is full and I feel incredibly blessed to be on this journey, and if you’re reading this, I am doubly blessed that you decided to stop through and ride with me!
